28 januari 2010         Newsletter C2P Suspension Technology - January 2010 C2P Suspension Technology introduces its new shock absorber for all 85cc cross/competition motorcycles from all Japanese manufacturers such as Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. The new C2P 85cc shock absorber contains adjusters for rebound as well as high- and low-speed compression, making it adaptable for use in any kind of situation. Measuring a 40mm body and a 14mm shaft, the new C2P 85cc shock absorber is designed to be lightweight while still be extremely strong. Manufactures from high-quality 7075 aircraft grade aluminium and with the most strictly possible tolerances, the C2P 85cc shock absorber is designed to withstand all extreme conditions such as motocross racing and enduro riding. Engineers at C2P Suspension Technology have put the 85cc shock trough extensive testing procedures to ensure proper functioning of the shock under any possible condition. All parts inside the shock absorber are build to the highest standards and are given an anodising treatment, ensuring the highest possible quality while also creating an ecstatically pleasing shock, that matches the looks of any 85cc cross/enduro motorcycle. Compression Adjustment All C2P 85cc shock absorbers are fitted with a series 54 LS/HS integrated compression adjuster, making it possible to adjust the high-speed compression blow-off as well as the low-speed compression bleed valve. The series 54 compression adjuster is probably the smallest low- and high-speed integrated adjuster on the market today. Equipped with a high-speed shim stack mounted on a control piston as well as a low- speed bleed valve (which can be adjusted separately from the outside of the shock absorber), the C2P series 54 compression adjuster is capable of a wide range compression adjustment. This High-flow type piston is especially designed for the C2P 85cc shock absorber to give suspension specialists more room to tune the tune absorber.
